Medical Student Term Life Insurance

Cost-effective Student Term Life Insurance protection: $50,000 or $100,000.

Why Student Term Life Insurance?

It’s simple. If something were to happen to you, would your family be left with overwhelming financial burdens? While some medical education debt may be forgiven when a student dies, private loans may be the responsibility of loved ones. Exclusively priced, quality life insurance protection makes sense.

$100,000 Term Life Insurance Protection for $40 A Year

Medical Student Group Term Life Insurance sponsored by the American Medical Association offers full-time medical students attending an accredited medical school $100,000 of Group Term Life Insurance for $40 a year, or $50,000 coverage for $20 a year. The benefit you select is automatically doubled, to $200,000 or $100,000, in the event of a covered accidental death. Your spouse or domestic partner under age 40 may also enroll, whether you enroll or not.

You May Keep This Coverage After Graduation

As a participant in the Student Term Life Insurance, 12 months after you graduate, you’ll automatically be enrolled in the Physician Term Life Insurance with the same benefits at a rate based on your current attained age. To continue coverage, just pay the billed premium.

You Are Guaranteed Acceptance

If you enroll during the open enrollment period, between July 1 and December 31, there are no physical exams or health questions required. Your signature is all you need to enroll, as long as you’re a full-time medical student under age 40, attending an accredited medical school.
